Tried it out: L'Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream

I was asked to try L'Oreal Paris Magic BB Cream and figured why not. I love, love, love makeup, why would I say no?? I signed up to receive the sample, try it out and write a review. A few days later, I received a beautiful gold package in the mail. I knew right away it had to be something nice. When I opened it up, it was a full size tube of L'Oréal Paris Magic BB Cream in Fair. I couldn't wait to try it.

The next morning I got dressed and started putting on my make up. Using just one tube of product instead of my normal routine was very tough to get used to. I'm sure many others are like me. Moisturizer, primer, foundation and concealer even before I start applying my colors.

I read the instructions and this is supposed to replace these steps. I put a little dot on my finger and began to apply it to my face as I would a foundation. I wasn't sure what it would look like. The cream was almost white on the tip of my finger and I didn't know if it would stay white on my skin. It did seem to change color when I applied it to my skin.

My overall opinion is it seems ok. Not what I'm used to and it would have to take some getting used to. I can definitely see myself using this in the summer but in the winter, I really like to apply a thick layer of moisturizer.

I haven't used this every day because shortly after my skin broke out like it's never broken out before. I've tried to return to my regular skincare routine to clear things up and then try to pinpoint the problem by changing a little bit at a time.

As for the product, I will try it again when the weather gets nicer. I'd love to avoid the multiple steps. I'd also like to try a slightly darker color. Fair in the winter is a touch too light and in the summer will be really light on my skin.

I would like to thank SheSpeaks and L'Oreal for allowing me to try this product out. It's something I'd really like to be able to use and get away from the multiple layers I'm used to. One bottle means travel would be so much easier. Maybe I would be able to then use a carry on instead of having to check my luggage for all of my skin care products.

I received a complimentary product from SheSpeaks/L'Oréal to facilitate this review.
